BioI am a Linux and open source software advocate and use both exclusively on Apple Macintosh PPC computers (although I really like Sony and Lenovo PCs too). My favorite distro is Yellow Dog Linux (a derivative of Red Hat's Fedora Core and CentOS) that runs on Apple PowerPC Macintosh Computers, IBM Power PCs, and Sony PlayStation3s, although I like Ubuntu too.
I am currently learning Mandarin Chinese. So far my writing is far superior to my speaking and my speaking is far superior to my listening and understanding abilities.
I used to be a deacon in the Russian Orthodox (Autonomous) Church, but was pushed out (of both my clerical rank and the ROAC) like many others by a vicar bishop who was administering most of the American parishes and thought he was an infaliable pope, so I find myself a synodless layman currently.
